Welcome to ActivePresenter Tutorial! In this video we are going to learn.
how to export ActivePresenter projects to HTML5 Simulation.
It uses the HTML5 standards.
that allow learners to view and interact with the content.
on various devices or platforms.
And the content can run on any HTML5 supported browsers.
without using the plug-in.
OK, go to open the EXPORT tab.
Then click the HTML5 Simulation icon.
You will see this dialog pops up having two tabs.
General and Reporting tab allow customizing your HTML5 output.
We will go in details of the General tab first.
Select one template from the drop-down list.
It's the appearance of the control toolbar.
provided at the bottom of the screen.
allowing users to control the presentation.
such as show/hide Closed Captions, change volume.
Otherwise, if you don't want to provide any control to your users.
I’ll go with the Ocean Template here.
Click Settings…to have more adjustments.
for the template you choose.
Here's the Template Parameters dialog.
where you can define the exported project layout.
The Presets section lets you customize all the settings.
then save it as a preset template.
and name your preset template in the pop-up dialog.
And it will appear in the Preset drop-down list from here on.
Select and change any value in the Parameter section.
to customize your template.
You can see the very short explanation for each parameter here.
And the way your customization will look like.
can be previewed in the Preview section.
Let's see the change in the preview section.
Alright, cick OK if you are satisfied with it.
Now comes the Operation Modes section having four options.
into which you can choose to export your project.
To know more in details about these four modes.
please refer to Object Operation Modes video available on our website.
The Total Max Time box lets you define the maximum timespan in which.
all of the objects complete their life cycle.
It also includes the waiting time.
of the presentation for user’s answer.
And this is for defining the speed that the interaction will flash.
that helps attracting learners.
In the Content Section.
you can have the settings for the background images of slides.
such as Format.
Usually, the higher these values are.
the more stunning outputs look like and.
the bigger file size is.
Click More Options….
And you will see further settings for Object Content and Accessibility.
It’s recommended that you should select this checkbox.
Because ActivePresenter will use SVG and HTML.
to display shapes and text inside.
So, the content appearance will be clear and sharp.
Select this check box if you want your output to be viewed.
on browsers that don't support MP4 and MP3.
If you want to allow users to select text inside shapes.
check this checkbox.
Besides, if your output includes an audio file.
ActivePresenter offers you pre-defined Bit Rates to choose from.
You can also define the video quality from here.
The higher value, the higher video quality and larger output file size.
The Accessibility gives you control.
over enabling some properties of the output.
Such as Text Accessibility and Keyboard Navigation.
Choose the place to save your work.
by clicking Browse button and select location.
Now, we will go in details of the Reporting tab.
First, ActivePresenter lets you set the Pass Condition of users.
It’s used to determine the overall pass/fail result.
of students when they take the test.
Then enter number in the Not less than box.
It’s the minimum score users have to gain to pass the test.
Options in the Report section let you decide.
how to report the test results taken by students.
If you click Show report in Practice and Test modes.
the report will be shown at the end of the presentation.
In the eLearning Options section… access the LMS drop-down list.
select No if you don’t want to export your project to any LMS package.
Otherwise, select SCORM 1.
2 or SCORM 2004.
or Tin Can API to export it.
to a learning management system package for uploading later.
In the Package Information section.
you can have the settings on Identifier and Version of your package.
You can also have the title for Organization and Item.
If you want to report the score in percentage.
click this button.
Reporting in percentage could make it’s easier for learners.
to assess and track their result.
By clicking this button.
each operation mode will be exported to a separated package.
Otherwise, all of them will be packed into one package.
I'll select No because.
I don't need to export to any LMS package here.
And here is the Report Section at the end of the test.
That's how to export ActivePresenter projects to HTML5 Simulation.
Hope that it helps.
Thank you for watching!.
